Authoring Elearning Using AdobeŽ DreamweaverŽ CS3 and Camtasia 3.0 - 5.0

Course Description

You may be familiar using a certain software application and would like to create a computer-based training program to teach students how to use that software or design CBT on internal departmental or agency line-of-business best practices.

First, you will review current and future concepts of what makes for effective elearning content.

Camtasia is a tool that automates the creation of software training materials. In this course, you will use Camtasia 5.0 to develop demonstrations and interactive simulations of software applications. You can create most types of simulation-based or interactive learning content with Camtasia 5.0.

From software simulations and demonstrations to complex scenario-based soft-skills training, Camtasia makes it easy to generate powerful, engaging content without any programming, scripting, or Flash authoring knowledge. The Camtasia section of this course begins with a “What’s New” section so that you migration from V3 to V5 will be relatively seamless.

You will first master Dreamweaver CS3’s feature set and then leverage Camtasia 5.0’s features to create compelling elearning content for your department or agency.

New features covered in Camtasia 5 usability, visual and production enhancements, automated zoom and pan, upload option and Express Show, to name a few.

Students will receive three manuals in this course: Axzo Press Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 Intro & Advanced books as well as Camtasia Studio 5: The Definitive Guide (Worldwide Applications Library) by Daniel Park with accompanying CD-ROM of additional resources.
