WA761 - WebSphere Application Server V6.1 Advanced Administration

 

Audience
 

This course is designed for administrators who install, configure, and manage Web-based applications on WebSphere Application Server. It is also helpful for webmasters and application architects. The typical participant has extensive experience with WebSphere, and other IT areas such as networking, security, and various protocols such as HTTP and IIOP.

 

Prerequisites
 

Before taking this course, students should have:

  • Fluency in Internet protocols such as HTTP, Internet Inter-Orb Protocol (IIOP), and HTTPS Basic WebSphere Application Server knowledge Knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems Basic knowledge of LDAP servers
  • Administration skills for a Web server such as IBM HTTP Server or Apache
